Teacher of English – High School
Requirements:
- Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of English)
- Knowledge/Experience working with various high school levels/courses (CP, Honors, AP)
- Proficient at modeling/teaching/assessing written expression
- Knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards for ELA
- Knowledge of state assessment test specifications for English Language Arts
- Ability to integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction
- Knowledge of Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching – a plus
- Knowledge of best practices in high school level education
- Willingness to collaborate with fellow department members
Bilingual (a plus)
Salary:
- As per salary guide based on experience and earned degree level
- Minimum $67,968 - maximum $99,181
