Director, State Support Team Region 8
State Support Team Region 8 seeks a full-time Director to lead a regional team of educational consultants in providing intensive and targeted support to identified districts and schools. The SST Director is responsible for ensuring high-quality implementation of State Support Team services designed to improve student outcomes in literacy, mathematics, attendance, and outcomes for students with disabilities through evidence-based instructional practices, continuous improvement processes, and integrated multi-tiered systems of support (I-MTSS).
The SST Director serves as the instructional and operational leader of the regional team, ensuring alignment between Department priorities, regional needs, consultant expertise, and district improvement efforts. The Director is responsible for developing team capacity, monitoring service quality, allocating resources strategically, and evaluating the impact of SST services on adult implementation and student outcomes.
