School Counselor
Adult Education
General Statement of Duties:
Works under the supervision of the School Principal to provide counseling to students.
Qualifications:
Position requires appropriate Connecticut Certification/068 School Counselor
Experience and ability to work with a diverse, multilingual and multicultural population
excellent communication skills
Possess thorough knowledge of present practices and current trends in guidance and counseling
Hours of Work: Part-time; 2 evenings (5:30pm-8:30pm) a week during the school year. TBD.
Salary & Benefits: $36.00 per hour. This is a non-contracted, part-time position offering no benefits.
Note: This is a grant funded position that only exists as long as funds are available.
