Description

Lewis Palmer Middle School is hiring for a 7th Grade World Studies Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.   Must have, or be eligible to receive a Colorado teaching license with a secondary social studies endorsement, or must have a Colorado teaching license with a minimum of 24 credit hours in the content area. Coaching athletics and/or sponsoring student programs is also available. In order to be considered for this position, you must complete and submit the online application.  The start date for teachers new to the District is July 31, 2026. 

Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting.  As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy. This pay range is $44,550 - $75,279 annually, based on education and experience levels. The current teacher pay schedule can be found on our website.
