POSITION:     Principal - Career and Technical Education/Alternative Education/New Vision

LOCATION:    North Franklin Educational Center - Malone

DUTIES:

• Provides leadership to the faculty and students
• Creates and maintains a shared vision of excellence for students and staff
• Direct supervision all aspects of CTE/Alternative Education/New Vision programs
• Develops a system of communication with component school districts
• Make recommendations to assist Administration in the planning and implementation of opportunities for the development of staff
• Provides leadership in the recruitment, selection, orientation, and assignment of instructional personnel
• Management of student discipline and communication with component district personnel and the families
• Maintains harmonious and effective relationships that will provide the most positive educational experience
• Make recommendations regarding program budget consistent with the entire BOCES district budget
• Coordinates necessary meetings and committee assignments
• Serves as DASA coordinator for programs within area of supervision
• Coordinates, collects and error check data prior to submission to SED
• Work in collaborative environment, actively contributing ideas, supporting colleagues and achieving shared goals
• Performs other duties as assigned

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:     New York State Certification as a School Administrator

STARTING DATE:                         July 1, 2026

SALARY:         $90,000-$115,000 Based on education and experience
