REPORTS TO:                                 Custodial Supervisor

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:       Monday-Friday 6:30 am-3:00 pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS

1. 16 years or older.
2. Valid Illinois Driver's license and ability to travel within district.
3. Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
4. Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1. Assist with cleaning areas of school.
2. Moving materials and furniture.
3. General custodial work inclusive of vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing floors, emptying trash, cleaning, etc.
4. Grounds maintenance consisting of mowing, weeding, trimming, etc.
5. Assist with painting and general maintenance.
6. Perform such other appropriate duties as may be assigned by the Custodial Supervisor.

PAY AND BENEFITS

1. $15.00/hour
2. This is a temporary position and not eligible for benefits. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to actively perform work in classroom, office, and other business and community settings. Ability to move freely and perform duties in numerous locations throughout the day. Typically including strenuous and considerable physical exertion involving frequent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to work on ladders of varying heights. Exposure to noise and activity of a school setting. Exposure to weather conditions.
