Custodian (2nd Shift; 2:00pm - 10:30pm)

The Pickerington Local School District (PLSD) is seeking interested applicants for a Custodian (2nd Shift; 2:00pm - 10:30pm) at Pickerington High School Central.
This is a 12 month position. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicant must possess a high school diploma or a GED equivalent  
• Previous custodial work experience preferred
• Ability to maintain care of buildings, grounds and equipment
• Must have experience with operating heating and ventilating equipment
• Ability to lift, push, pull or carry 80 pounds
• Ability to perform manual labor for long periods of time
• Knowledge and/or ability to learn technical building systems
• Ability to communicate effectively, clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
• Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of tasks assigned
• Ability to assist principal/supervisor in creating a safe, clean, positive and comfortable environment
• Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed
• Must be friendly, dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
