Description

This is a full-time, School Nurse position at Magnolia Middle School. This position is temporary for the 2025-2026 School Year. 

QUALIFICATIONS: Individuals who will be eligible or possess School Nurse certification are encouraged to apply.  All candidates must apply online.   
 

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or School Nursing from a Regionally-Accredited college or university required.
  • Must have completed three (3) years of Supervised Clinical Nursing Experience as a registered nurse consisting of a minimum of 500 hours per year, preferably working with pediatric/child population.
  • Registered professional nurse, designated as R.N. as defined and determined by state law, and currently licensed in the state of Delaware.  A copy of the RN license must be provided.  
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). A copy of the CPR card must be provided.  
  • Candidate must meet State of Delaware certification requirements for School Nurse.

SALARY:  In accordance with the State of Delaware and local salary schedules, based on experience and degree. Benefits package included.

  • Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
  • All persons employed by the Caesar Rodney School District are required to submit a criminal background check and a tuberculosis test.
  • Anyone offered employment is required to provide the following:  proper identification (Social Security Card and Driver's License), documentation of eligibility for employment in the U.S.A., completion of I-9 form, and completion of paperwork for the Delaware Child Protection Registry.
