Summer Grounds Worker (Multiple Positions)

General Purpose of Job:  To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Perform work in the care and improvement of
grounds and site landscapes.

Responsibilities:  

• Maintaining district grounds including, but not limited to, mowing, string trimming, pruning shrubs, trees, weeding, shoveling and removing paper and debris from school yard and along fence lines.
• General landscaping projects including mulch and rock.
• Installing, repairing and maintaining indoor and outdoor athletic equipment and playing fields; playground apparatus.
• Replacing and repairing chain link fencing.
• Assist in installing and repairing irrigation systems.
• Other like or comparable duties as assigned.

Job Type:  Casual, Summer Employment.  Positions start as early as May 6, 2026. 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday work week, 8 hours per day.  6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 

Bargaining Unit:  Custodians

Salary:  $20.00/hour
