SY 26-27 Instructional Coach-Secondary Pool

Isle of Wight County Schools is building a pool of highly qualified applicants for anticipated Instructional Coach positions for the 2026–2027 school year. This role is ideal for experienced educators who are passionate about strengthening instructional practices, building teacher capacity, and improving student outcomes.

Instructional Coaches work collaboratively with teachers and school leaders to provide job-embedded professional learning, model effective instructional strategies, and support data-driven decision-making aligned with division priorities.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a closely related field required
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience required
• Experience in instructional leadership, coaching, or school administration preferred

Position Details:

• 11-month position
• Salary based on the approved FY26 Administrative Pay Scale
