Open to Boone County School Custodians
Program Details:
- 1 prep day and 1 holiday (WV Day)
- hours: 7:30 AM – 2 PM on programmatic days
- Student attendance: 8:00 AM – 1:30 PM daily
- Pay: Daily rate (based on Boone County Schools Pay Scale)
- Positions are contingent upon student enrollment at each site
Program Schedule:
June 5 – Prep Day (No Students)
June 8 – First Day of Students
June 8 – June 25 – Students attend Monday through Thursday only
June 19 – No School (WV Day)
July 1-- Last day for program and July 2-- Closeout
The Summer School Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly school environment during the summer program. Duties include cleaning classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas; sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces; and assisting with trash removal and basic maintenance tasks. The Custodian helps prepare and secure the building for daily use, responds to immediate cleaning needs, and works cooperatively with staff to support a safe and welcoming environment for students and employees. Immediate supervisor is the Site Coordinator
