Description
Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking student workers for the bookstore at both Glenbrook North High School and Glenbrook South High School.
The responsibilities include:
- Review student schedules and create individualized boxes with required textbooks and supplies;
- Provide excellent customer service to all Glenbrook stakeholders, including order fulfillment and floor support during the August instructional material pick-up process;
- Assist in moving inventory with the use of a cart or dolly between locations in the building (lifting boxes to 50 lbs. may be required);
- Standing for extended periods may be required;
- Use of an iPad, laptop, and Chromebook required;
- Remain calm in stressful situations;
- Maintain confidentiality on all student information;
- Perform any other duties required or assigned.

Vary between June 8, 2026, through August 7, 2026.
Hours
- Open Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Additional hours may be requested due to backorders. Closed on Fridays.
- The week of August 3rd to August 7th is a high-volume period for picking up instructional materials. The hours for this week are from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM.
New Hire Probationary Period : 60 days.
Compensation is $15 per hour (High School Student Worker) or $16 per hour (High School Graduate Student Worker) as reflected in the attached salary schedule.
