PARK COUNTY RE2 SCHOOL DISTRICT IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR A SECOND GRADE TEACHER Edith Teter Elementary is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Second Grade Teacher for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who values relationships, creates a structured and engaging classroom environment, and is committed to both academic and social-emotional growth for all students.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES -Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction in all core subjects -Create a structured, positive classroom environment that supports student learning and behavior -Monitor and assess student progress using both formative and summative data -Differentiate instruction to meet diverse academic needs -Provide targeted small-group instruction and interventions -Foster strong relationships with students and families -Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration -Maintain accurate records and communicate student progress regularly -Support school-wide expectations and contribute to a positive school culture -Perform other duties as assigned by the principal

COMPENSATION -Salary commensurate with education and experience. -4-day school week (Monday-Thursday), 7:30AM-4:30PM -153 contracted days -Health, dental, vision, and life insurance -PERA Retirement -Paid leave and additional district benefits
