Elementary Teacher, Multiple Positions

Walker Hackensack Akeley Elementary is seeking multiple full-time Elementary teachers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Valid K-6 Minnesota Teaching License 

   

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Applies the Marzano High Reliability Schools framework to guide instructional decisions
• Plans and delivers instruction aligned to Minnesota State Standards using strong content knowledge and effective teaching strategies
• Differentiates instruction and provides multiple learning opportunities to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Uses a variety of instructional methods and formative assessments to monitor progress, analyze data, and adjust instruction
• Integrates technology, creativity, and real-world or community connections to enhance student learning and engagement
• Models effective learning behaviors and fosters student engagement, critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving
• Maintains an organized, structured classroom environment and builds positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and administration
• Demonstrates a growth mindset by continuously learning, reflecting on practice, and adapting instruction to improve student outcomes
• Assumes professional responsibility
• Performs other duties as assigned
   

SALARY & BENEFITS:

• Depends on qualifications.  Minimum starting salary is $60,000.
