Must hold a license issued by Utah State Office of Education.
The license position area must be in English as a Second Language (EFL/ELL/ESL/ESOL).
The license must be in one of the following grades: 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th.
The license status must be active or about to graduate from a state-approved teacher preparation program.
Description
The Title III & ELL Coordinator will lead and support the school’s Multilingual Learner (ML) programs, specifically targeting the academic growth, language acquisition, and federal compliance requirements for students whose primary language is not English. Additionally, this position requires teaching ELL courses to increase students' English understanding. This position requires a dedicated professional who can navigate the complexities of federal Title III regulations and the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) standards, building strong instructional frameworks to facilitate a student’s path toward graduation and post-secondary success. The right person for this job would be someone who is a self-starter and is able to work independently to manage high-level data and compliance tasks.
