The Highland Local School District has an opening for a Cook at Highland Middle School, 3 hours per day, 
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM each school day.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.  Strong work ethics, flexibility, positive interactive abilities with 
students and adults, and a total understanding and acceptance of the rules of confidentiality.  This person 
will also need to obtain background checks. Food service experience preferred but not required.
 
JOB DUTIES:
Perform designated duties involving the preparation and serving of foods and observation of all food safety 
procedures. The responsibilities of this position will include serving as cashier.
 
SALARY: 
The person selected to fill this position will be placed at the appropriate step of the salary schedule contained in 
the negotiated agreement between the Highland Support Staff Association (HSSA) and the Highland Board of Education.
