The music teacher for Torrington Middle School is responsible for delivering engaging, standards-based instruction that develops students' musical skills, creativity, and appreciation for music. They design lessons that may include vocal and/or instrumental performance, music theory, and collaboration, while encouraging self-expression and teamwork. The teacher also assesses student progress, maintains a structured and inclusive learning environment, and may coordinate performances that showcase student learning.
INTERNAL TRANSFER REQUESTS: Torrington Public Schools personnel qualified for, certified for, and interested in transferring into, the above must apply by midnight, March 25, 2026.
