Park County School District RE2 is hiring a Health Science Teacher within the Career and Technical Education (CTE) department. The CTE Health Sciences Teacher will implement the PLTW Biomedical Science program, a sequence of four courses: Principles of Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems, Medical Interventions, and Biomedical Innovation. The instructor will lead students through real-world medical mysteries and clinical scenarios, preparing them for post-secondary education and careers in biotechnology, medicine, and public health. The teaching contract will follow a full-time schedule, and pay will be based on experience. Applicants need to be able to work with children, parents, community partners, and external student organizations such as HOSA, and to facilitate student participation in regional or national competitions. Maintain an Advisory Committee and work with local healthcare employers to promote technical skills and career awareness.
