Position: Before & After School Care Coordinator – Explorer Zone - HCER
Class: Non-Represented
Location: District (HCER)
Assignment: 202 Annual Days
Hours: 8 Daily Hours
Starting Salary Range: Range established by the Board of Education, starting at $32,738, commensurate with experience and training.
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Managing the delivery of school-age child care programs that focus on developmentally appropriate opportunities to enhance cognitive, emotional, physical, and social skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Undergraduate Degree in Early Childhood Development or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to influence the district and department's cultural environment, evaluate program practices, and implement improvements that help students benefit from the educational program.
- Shows evidence of advanced computer technology and children's programming skills.
- Articulates a clear educational and recreational program philosophy and sustainable implementation strategy.
- Skills in behavioral management techniques substantiated by training/work experience.
