Pay Scale: Support Staff A, commensurate with experience
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 years verifiable experience =
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Basic knowledge of multiple trades with a specialty in Electrical or HVAC preferred. Basic level of computer operations is a must. Must have the ability to problem solve and troubleshoot. Must attend educational classes as needed for the purpose of maintaining technical skills and adherence to regulatory requirements. Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. continuously. Must be able to climb ladder with no fear of heights. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend and stretch for extended periods. Must be able to work in outdoor environment during extreme weather.
Primary Function: Maintain facilities working as a team with fellow employees. Responsible for the upkeep, repair, and safe operations of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Respond to maintenance work requests.
- Maintain building systems such as lighting, doors and fixtures.
- Perform basic repairs.
- Replace worn or damaged parts.
- Knowledge of tools, equipment and materials.
- Read, interpret, and work from diagrams and blueprints.
- Assist with facility setup for meetings, events or operations.
- Grounds maintenance such as mowing, trimming and debris removal.
- Record/document information needed for the purpose of providing required information for future reference.
- Participate in an "on call" program.
