POTENTIAL: Custodian/Mechanic Helper -- Liberty Local Schools

Potential Position: 

• POTENTIAL CUSTODIAN/MECHANIC HELPER

Qualifications:                      

• Thorough knowledge of custodial procedures.
• Ability to perform work in accordance with job description.
• Physically capable of performing cleaning duties that may include, but are not limited to, lifting, moving heavy objects, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in essential functions of the position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful BCI/FBI checks.

Duties:                                  

• Perform general custodial duties related to the general appearance, cleanliness, repair, and operations of the buildings and grounds.
• Perform such maintenance duties as shall be assigned, which are necessary to the safety, health, and general welfare of the students and employees of the school district.
• Electrical/plumbing/carpentry skills preferred.
• Must have basic computer skills (ex. Email, Word processing, work orders, etc.).

Hours:                          

• Eight (8) hours per day, Five (5) days per week.

Place of Assignment:  

• High School Building Afternoon/Midnight (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 3:00 – 11:00 PM or 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM), as needed in and around district buildings.

Rate of Pay:                 

• Per current negotiated salary schedule.

Responsible to:            

• Maintenance Coordinator, Building Principals, and Superintendent
