Description
Under the direct supervision of a licensed teacher, the instructional assistant performs:
1. One-to-one or small group instruction.
2. Clerical work.
3. Other activities as assigned.
Special Requirements: (Certification, training, specialty skills or previous experience)
1. Must have ability to work harmoniously with teachers, students, and other staff.
2. Must have ability to take direction appropriately, changing tasks as necessary.
3. Bilingual in Spanish desired, but not required.
4. Must have completed two years of post-high school, obtained an Associate's degree or higher or successfully passed (or ability to pass) the WorkKeys test.
5. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
NUMBER OF HOURS PER DAY: 6.5 HOURS PER DAY
NUMBER OF DAYS WORKED PER SCHOOL YEAR: THIS POSITION IS TEMPORARY FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2025/2026 SCHOOL YEAR
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $19.88 - $27.97 PER HOUR (RANGE 10)
Applicants recommended for conditional employment are required to be fingerprinted and have a criminal record check at their own expense (presently $12.50 per employee).
