Job Description:

Fairport Harbor Schools is seeking a passionate and innovative K-12 Technology Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This teacher will be responsible for fostering student engagement and success in a variety of technology-related courses across grades K-12. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current technologies, possess the ability to teach across a range of grade levels, and inspire students to embrace technology as a tool for creativity, problem-solving, and learning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology Education, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Ohio teaching license with appropriate endorsements (e.g., K-12 Technology, Computer Science, STEM).
• Strong knowledge of K-12 technology education, including coding languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript), robotics, digital media, and computer applications.
• Experience teaching technology at the K-12 level is preferred.
• Passion for technology and a commitment to helping students develop the skills they need for the future.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment that fosters student curiosity and a love for technology.
• Familiarity with a variety of technology tools, platforms, and educational software.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and staff to create a technology-rich learning environment.
