Job Title: Assistant Football Coach
Location: Argo Community High School – Summit, IL
Start Date: Fall 2026
Position Overview:
Argo Community High School is seeking an Assistant Football Coach to join our coaching staff for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Coach in developing student-athletes through skill instruction, conditioning, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices and games
- Promote a positive team culture and academic achievement
- Ensure adherence to school, conference, and IHSA policies
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching or football experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes
- Must meet IHSA and district coaching requirements
