Job Title: Summer Learning Teacher 9-12

Locations: Central High School

Job Type: Temporary, Part-time, 4 days/week M-Th, June 22nd-July 30st, 2026 (7:30am-12:30pm)

No break the week of July 4th (The 4th is on a Saturday) 

Prep Time (2 hours/week, 30 min/day)

Compensation: $30/hour, $165/day, $3960 for the summer (24 days)

Reports To: Summer Learning Site Coordinator 

Summary:

The Summer Learning Teacher is responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing instructional activities for students attending summer learning. This role involves delivering engaging lessons, providing support to students, and communicating with parents and stakeholders to ensure student success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with standards
• Provide instruction to students in a classroom setting
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and achievement
• Assess student learning through a variety of methods and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues and the Summer Learning Site Coordinator to address student needs and modify instruction as necessary
• Participate in preplanning meetings (virtual or in person)
• Maintain accurate records
• Adhere to school and district policies and procedures
