Education Office Personnel (EOP) - Jr. High

Description:  Mahomet-Seymour Junior High is currently accepting applications for the position of Education Office Personnel (EOP).  This position supports the daily operations of the school office by providing professional clerical, organizational, and customer service assistance to students, staff, families, and visitors.  This role will help to ensure an efficient, welcoming, and student-centered school environment.  The projected start date for this position will be mid-April 2026.  This position will work a ten month, 40 hour/week schedule. 
 

Qualifications:  

• Prior school office or administrative support experience is preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and student information systems (or ability to learn).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills are required.
• The successful candidate will be reliable, resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented. 

Salary and Benefits:  The current starting rate for this position is $20.83 per hour (our existing 4-year collective bargaining agreement will expire at the end of the 2025-2026 school year and we will be negotiating a new agreement that will begin with the 2026-2027 school year).  Also attached is a summary of our 2026 Employee Benefits.
