Position Summary: The Nursing Instructor will join a dynamic academic team at EVIT to teach students how to become compassionate nurses who strive for excellence in the profession while providing quality patient care. This position is will teach in a general classroom\lab setting. The  Instructor will teach nursing topics that cover patient care, prevention of illness and injury, clinical skills, inter professional communication, medical information technology, and general healthcare policy and practices. This position will continually assess and enhance the curriculum to meet the program's educational requirements, adhere to and follow all rules and regulations of our accrediting organization, and ensure high academic standards.

Job Type: As Needed, 12 Month Calendar

Salary: $60.00/ Hr

Education and Experience

• Masters in Nursing degree for RN Program
• Bachelors degree in Nursing for PN Program
• Two to three years of RN experience providing direct patient care.

Licensing /Certification and Other Requirements

• Current Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing or multi-state privilege to practice in Arizona by first day of employment.
• CPR/BLS Certification.
• Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Proof of al current immunizations/titers
• Proof of negative PPD or negative Chest x-ray.
• If hired, candidate must submit a negative drug screen for commonly abused controlled substances within 48 hours of job offer.
