Description
Teaching Professions Instructor
Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools
Start Date: August 17, 2026
Must be able to attend required trainings (including summer)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging instruction
- Develop curriculum aligned to workforce needs, state standards, and student interests
- Collaborate with an institute of higher education to serve as a College Credit Plus (CCP) instructor
- Build and maintain strong industry partnerships
- Establish and facilitate a Program Advisory Committee
- Work closely with school and district staff to ensure a high-quality, future-ready program

- Child and Adolescent Development (Subject Code: 350003)
- Curriculum and Instruction for Teaching Professions (Subject Code: 3500200)
- Classroom Management (Subject Code: 350030)
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of documented, relevant industry experience
- Must have a Masters of Education or related field (CCP requirement)
- Willingness to work with an institute of higher education to become a CCP instructor
- Appropriate teaching license or the ability to obtain one through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce Development
