South Summit School District is currently accepting applications for Substitute Bus Drivers to support our students and school community. Substitute drivers are scheduled on an as-needed basis and may drive regular student routes as well as trips for classes, athletic teams, and academic activities. This position is a great entry point for individuals interested in school transportation. Substitute drivers receive paid training and may have opportunities to advance into full-time, benefited positions as openings become available. Compensation & Benefits • Pay is based on the Classified Salary Schedule (current year) • This is a non-benefited position Qualifications • Valid Utah Driver License and a clean driving record • Ability to follow safety rules, policies, and procedures • Enjoy working with and supporting students • Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening • Required to complete fingerprinting and pass a background check No CDL? No problem. All required training and certifications, including CDL training, are provided and paid for by the District.
