Temporary Instructional Paraprofessional (#126330)

VACANCY:  The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a Temporary Instructional Aide position for the 2025-2026 school year.
 
JOB SUMMARY:  This position is responsible for assisting the Teacher in a variety of semi-instructional tasks; to work primarily in a general education setting, providing support to the teacher;
must be able to assist with communication, scheduling, modifications of curriculum with the ability to stand, stoop, bend and carry materials.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Knowledge of curriculum materials and instructional techniques
• Initiative to follow through with assigned tasks
• Effective communication skills
• A physical exam and negative T.B. test are required
• Must have a Paraprofessional, Teaching or Substitute Teaching License registered with the Will County Office of Education

 
PAY SCALE AND BENEFIT DISCLOSURE:    Salary is in accordance with the Paraprofessional Salary Schedule.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  The Salary and work year is 181 days and is in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between the Valley View Council and the Board of Education.  A Physical exam and a negative Tuberculosis test are required.  FLSA Non-Exempt.
