Title:	Transportation Aide(s)
Location:	Mansfield Township School District
Qualifications:	Ability to read and write Good physical health and ability to perform assigned duties

• Knowledge of bus passenger safety and effective discipline procedures

• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S citizenship or legal resident

Reports To: School Business Administrator/Board Secretary
  Job Description:

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining student conduct on the bus.

• Assist young students in getting on and off the bus.

• Provide written records of violations of student code to the building principal.

• Provide instruction to students regarding passenger safety and ensure that students wear their seat belts when the bus is so equipped.
• Participate in scheduled emergency bus exit drills.
• Check to be sure that all students have been dropped off, and no passengers remain on the bus at the end of the bus route.
• Assist the bus driver in keeping the bus clean

Terms of Employment: Position to begin:  ASAP
10 Months; Part Time; Approximately 1-½ hour for both the AM and PM bus runs Rate of Pay: $16.15 per hour; All rates of pay are based upon the current Collective Bargaining Agreement
