Description:
We are seeking dedicated Bilingual (Spanish) Paraprofessionals to join our Dual Language program. The successful candidates will assist in classroom settings under the supervision of certified instructors. Responsibilities include supervising various areas such as classrooms, washrooms, playgrounds, before and after school, as well as general oversight of the cafeteria, library, hallways, and other instructional settings within our dual-language classrooms. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and adoption of instructional materials and bi-literacy approach.
- Assist with the supervision, instruction of students as directed; assist the teacher with all aspects of the daily instructional program

Assist with the maintenance of accurate records on student progress.
- Participates in staff development activities as directed by contract.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by administration.
Hours
35 hours a week, 7 hours a day- Elementary Schools
8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with a 30 minute duty free lunch

Qualifications:
- Bilingual Spanish Required

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Basic Computer Knowledge
Physical Demands:
- Ability to read and communicate effectively with employees of the district.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, visual, and verbal form.
- Work involves walking, talking, hearing, using hands to handle, feel, or operate objects or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
