Description
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Class 1 or 2 Montana Teaching License;
Endorsements: ELA or Math
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide instruction for grade 7-8 students in all subject areas including: Math, Science, Social Studies, English and basic skills in the areas of Art, Keyboarding, Music, IT, FCS and Financial Literacy
- Provide instruction in social skills (twice weekly)
- Partner with behavior and academic intervention specialist to provide positive plans for success
- Develop and implement behavioral and academic goal system for students to track progress
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of each student within class and by subject
- Keep data on student progress toward academic and behavioral goals
- Follow all Connection teacher responsibilities
- Communicate with students, parents, and community agencies on a weekly basis
- Provide instruction during study back period
- Provide transportation to and from school as needed
- Plan and administer quarterly meetings with staff/teams on student progress
- Provide parent teacher conference opportunities and open house opportunities
- Develop and implement field experiences specific to student interest
- Participate in RTI monthly meetings as needed
- Prefer strong technology background for daily implementation into curriculum as well as building wide resource to staff
- Other duties as assigned.
EMPLOYMENT: 2025/2026 School Year
LOCATION: North Middle School
SALARY: $46,500.00 - $71,803.00
Based on 2025/2026 Salary Schedule
(Dependent upon education and experience)
