Description
POSITION: SECRETARY FOR SUPPORT SERVICES DIRECTOR – DISTRICT OFFICE
(Full time Position – 250 Days with Benefits)

The Secretary may perform any of the Support Service Office functions as listed below, but duties may not be limited to those functions listed below.
- Provide administrative support to the Support Services Director, including scheduling, correspondence, communication, and other administrative tasks
- Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of all support services programs which include grants, hiring, onboarding, and training
- Track licensing, endorsements, and certifications of personnel in support services programs
- Prepare and process purchase orders, travel vouchers, and credit card statements of all applicable programs
- Monitor budgets and expenditures for all support services programs
- File applicable reimbursements for state and federal programs
- Schedule and prepare agendas, minutes, and correspondence for meetings related to support services
- Coordinate, prepare, and compile data and reports for local, state, and federal requirements
- Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation for compliance and auditing
- Collaborate effectively as a team member with staff, administrators, and external partners
- Perform other duties assigned by the Support Services Director
Education/Experience
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree or higher preferred
- Previous business office experience required; experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with Google Drive, SharePoint, and OneDrive preferred
- Familiarity with Aspire, Data Gateway, Frontline, and LINQ preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
