Posting Description: Long-term Substitute World Language (French & Spanish)
Collaborate with all stakeholders to develop, implement, and assess rigorous lesson plans rooted in deep knowledge of High School Mathematics content and teaching pedagogy.
Building: High School
Reports to: Building Principal
Terms of Employment: 12 Weeks (minimum)
Salary: Commensurate with degree level and experience
Minimum Qualifications:
- French teaching experience; additional experience teaching Spanish preferred
- Meets certification requirements of the State of Delaware for Teacher of World Languages

- Employ a variety of evidenced-based instructional strategies that are culturally responsive.
- Commit to a collaborative professional community focused to ensure delivery of the NCS academic program and use of high-quality instructional materials resulting in high levels of academic achievement.
- Deliver an instructional program that is multifaceted to accommodate different learning styles, different levels of social and intellectual maturity, and different degrees of academic interest and achievement.
- Engage in professional learning and be committed to continual growth and improvement as an educator.
- Prioritize parental engagement in the instructional program and as partners to ensure the academic success of all students.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
- Promote high expectations for behavior standards and enforce the Code of Conduct.
- Contribute to the school community outside of the instructional program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
