Description

QUALIFICATIONS:	A bachelor’s degree and a P-3 teaching certificate. At least 3 years of experience teaching general education preschool programs. Experience in implementing developmentally appropriate preschool curricula, preferably The Creative Curriculum for Preschool. Experience with a range of appropriate early childhood assessments, including performance-based assessments, preferably Teaching Strategies GOLD. Experience with classroom-quality assessment tools such as ECERS-3 and TPOT. Experience providing professional development to classroom teachers. Preschool Professional Development Fellow status, which can be earned in the first year of employment. Experience with the Pyramid Model and Teaching Pyramid Observation Tool (TPOT) preferred. Serve as a preschool intervention and referral specialist (PIRS) according to 6A:13A-4.2

LOCATION:	Varies
SALARY:	Based on MLEA contract, starting salary $56,306
