The Exeter Township School District is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our facilities and maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in all district-owned buildings, ensuring a safe and functional environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.
   

• Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and compliance with applicable codes.
   

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and related equipment.
   

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical codes.
   

• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergency calls.
   

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and school district policies.
   

• Maintain records of work completed and materials used.
   

• Assist with general maintenance duties as needed.
   

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
   

• Valid state electrician license or journeyman certification preferred.
   

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and best practices.
   

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
   

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
   

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
