Ensures full and appropriate implementation of IEP's for students with disabilities within public and private schools and provides technical assistance to special education teachers, general education teachers, related service providers, paraprofessionals and other school personnel interacting with the student.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with required successful student teaching in the areas of exceptionality.  Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) Facilitators must  hold a license in Mild Disabilities/Intervention or  licenses in all three areas; Learning Disabled, Mild Mental and Seriously Emotionally Handicapped.
• Hold and maintain current licensure in all appropriate area(s) of special education in the State of Indiana.
• Possess a basic knowledge of special education laws and regulations and can follow developed procedures.

Salary:  Dependent on Education and Experience

To work 183 instructional days.
