Vernon ISD is seeking a dedicated and passionate 7th Grade Science Teacher to join the team at Vernon Middle School. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore scientific concepts and foster a love for learning through engaging, standards-based instruction.

Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver rigorous and relevant science instruction aligned with TEKS standards.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technology to enhance student understanding.
Assess and monitor student progress using formative and summative assessments.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administration to support student achievement.
Participate in professional development and school activities as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Valid Texas teaching certificate in Science (4–8 or 7–12)
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for science education and student success
