Description
POSITION: On-call Cooks Helper for Jordan Public Schools. Hours will vary depending on need.
SUMMARY: Provide a clean, safe and positive environment for students, staff and the public.
SALARY: $19.48 per hour
REPORTS TO: Nutrition Services Director
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Degree earned or equivalent experience.
- Serve Safe, CPR, First Aid Certification or other applicable certifications preferred.
- Good physical condition, ability to work in a commercial kitchen environment (ie: extreme temperatures and high noise levels) and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds with no physical restrictions.
- Experience working with food preparation in a school district.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and appropriate dress and appearance.
- Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming environment.
- Knowledge of computer programs and willingness to learn specific systems used within the district (ex: Word Ware).
- Detail orientated.
