Job Summary:
The Math Interventionist provides targeted, small-group instruction in foundational math skills to support students performing below grade level. This role is essential in closing learning gaps and helping students build confidence, conceptual understanding, and fluency in mathematics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver daily, research-based math intervention lessons in small group and one-on-one settings.
Use diagnostic tools to assess students’ math skills and identify specific areas of need.
Design and implement data-driven intervention plans to help students reach grade-level proficiency.
Collaborate with school teams to review student progress and support instructional decisions.
Monitor and document student growth regularly, adjusting instruction as needed.
Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and support personnel to align math interventions with core instruction.
Qualifications
Applicants must have at least 48 college hours or a passing score on the ParaPro exam.
