$200 - $250.00 Full day / $100 - $125.00 Half day - See salary schedule

All new candidates interested in guest/substitute teaching in the San Juan Unified School District must meet the following requirements:
• Hold a teaching credential based on a degree and student teaching
OR
• Be eligible to apply for an Emergency 30-Day Substitute Teaching Permit.
To be eligible to apply for an Emergency 30-day permit you must:
o Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher (please attach unofficial transcripts with conferral date)
New guest teachers will be required to attend an orientation/Paperwork Processing Event
- Pass a Criminal Background Check - Fingerprint fees are temporarily waived.
- Obtain a clear TB test
