This exempt position in Technology is for an immediate opening.

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and the highest level of performance tuning and recovery procedures for mission critical enterprise systems. Serves as a technical expert in the area of system administration for complex operating systems. Manages in-house computer software systems, servers, storage devices and network connections to ensure high availability and security of the supported business applications. Recommends the redesign and configuration of operating systems and system applications. Investigates and analyzes feasibility of system requirements and develops system specifications. Identifies methods and solutions to provide a high level of service to the district’s students and staff.

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field with 3-5 years’ experience preferred.
Microsoft Certification (MCSE/MCITP) or equivalent certification in relevant programs desired.
Vmware Certified Professional preferred.

Experience:
3-5 Years of related experience

Salary Range based on experience: Administrative/Professional Pay Plan; Pay Grade 3, 12 months
