Fifth Grade Band Director

Imlay City Schools is seeking a part time band director at Borland Elementary School for Fifth Grade. It is preferred that candidates for this position have a valid Michigan teaching certificate (JX). A candidate must have experience teaching beginning brass wind and percussion instruments. This person needs to be a team player, posses outstanding communication skills and be self directed. 

The Fifth grade band director will be responsible for scheduling parent meetings, communicating with students, teachers and parents, organizing one concert per semester, and holding practices each morning before school. 

Stipend for this position is $6,000.
