Part-Time Certified Teacher / Adult Education

Description:       Part-Time Certified Teacher Adult Education
                           (Approximately 16 hours per week - some evening
                                hours may be required)
                           Salary:   $30 per hour 

Location:           Adult Education Center - Hartsville and Bishopville  Locations

Available:           2025 - 2026 School Year

Qualifications:    

• Preferred certification areas include English/Language Arts, Math, Special Needs, Social Studies or Elementary

• Duties include teaching at-risk students, ages 16 - 21 

• Ability to provide structure and discipline, while developing a nurturing environment for highly at-risk students, is essential

Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

FLSA Status:     Non-Exempt

Responsible To:     Director of Adult Education
