Description
Position Purpose:
Support clear defined high academic standards that lead to high academic achievement and growth. Support that all teachers are providing instruction that is rigorous and meets the diverse needs of our students. Support a strong community relationship with your school.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creates and maintains an environment that is safe, respectful and orderly for all students.
- Establishes practices that support educators in analyzing student behavior data to assess the effectiveness of routines, making needed adjustments when needed to maximize learning.
- Establishes routines that include smooth transitions that maximize instructional time.
- Build capacity among all educators for analyzing and using multiple sources of student, educator and school-wide data.
- Develops and monitors a school-wide data plan that includes student progress tracking, establishing specific strategies to meet or exceed behavioral and achievement goals.
- Establish a culture in which students can articulate their personal academic and behavioral goals.
- Lead classroom teachers, English Learner teachers, Special Education teachers and support staff to develop and deliver appropriate interventions that successfully grow our students.
- Lead all members of your Instructional Leadership Team to participate and engage in leadership team meeting that support the growth of all members by intentional planning that supports school goals.
- Create a plan to recognize students and educators for their academic and/or behavior growth in performance.
- Facilitates family and community partnerships that are visible and sustainable.
- Incorporate community members and other partner groups in the establishment and support of high academic and behavior expectations.

- Ability to analyze data used to evaluate the effectiveness instructional practices
Equipment
Uses standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines, Smart TV’s and telephone etc.
Travel Requirements
Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

License/ Registration/ Certification
- Valid Indiana teaching license.
- Must have current Building Level Administrator license or proof of qualifications for an Indiana Administrative license.
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in School Administration.
- Must have school, district, state or national administrative experience.
- Must have positive references from current supervisor.
