St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic College Preparatory High School, Vancouver, WASeton Catholic College Preparatory High School is a Catholic, coeducational, college-prep school for students in grades 9-12. Position:
Seton Catholic College Preparatory High School is seeking a qualified long-term substitute teacher for 9th and 12th grade English who has found their vocation to inspire learning and moral development in a college preparatory environment. This teaching position is anticipated to start in October 2025 and run through January 2026. The successful candidate will be a teacher who has a strong desire to be a part of the Seton Catholic community.Required Skills:

- A passion for teaching the content area of English to high school students.

- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and organizational skills.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Has or is currently pursuing a Washington State Substitute or Teaching Certificate in secondary education.
- Experience teaching high school English.
- Experience and Knowledge in AP Language/Lit preferred.
- Master's in Teaching and/or English preferred.

Salary Range: $150-$250 per day based on experience
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills, and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.
A comprehensive package of benefits is offered, including two medical plan options, dental, vision, life, accidental death and disability, long-term disability, pension, 403(b), HSA, FSA, and generous sick leave, vacation, and holidays.
Schedule:
4 Means More, Tuesday through Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM
This shift allows the school community to use Monday to focus on community service, faith, and family - pillars that guide the mission of the school. This schedule will give teachers and staff time to better prepare for classes and develop professionally, creating more time for collaboration. Students will have additional time for study and Community Service
