SUMMARY:

The Live Streaming Specialist develops and supports advanced audio, visual, and streaming systems for the Erie Tiger Network (ETN).  The candidate will work with our journalism students from EHS classes to produce and broadcast live Erie High School events. This on-site position requires support for evening and weekend events.

This role includes managing the necessary hardware, software, and training for remote and web-hosted events. The specialist will execute various technical production roles related to live streaming and events needing advanced A/V support, while also providing expertise in designing and selecting ETN A/V systems.

This role involves providing live play-by-play commentary and color analysis during games, managing audio/video equipment, coordinating the live stream production, and ensuring high-quality coverage for viewers. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a passion for sports, and basic technical knowledge of broadcasting tools. Experience with streaming platforms and an understanding of high school sports is preferred.
