GUIDANCE COUNSELOR 

Responsibilities:

• Position involves college and career counseling, 
• Scheduling and course selection, 
• Academic support/intervention and personal/social development counseling. 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required; 
• Spanish-speaking preferred; 
• Strong ability to work with a diverse student body in a high school that offers Academy, CTE, AP/IB/Dual Credit programs and courses;
• Highly motivated to contribute to a comprehensive guidance curriculum with a dynamic counseling team;
• Strong knowledge of academic and career counseling techniques and resources;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines;
• Candidates must have New Jersey School Counselor Certification
  issued from NJ DOE;
• Candidates must go through a criminal background check.
