Afternoon (PM) Crossing Guard -Blackhawk Middle School - 2 needed

Bensenville School District 2 is looking for a reliable, safety-focused individual to serve as a PM Crossing Guard at Blackhawk Middle School (BMS). This important role helps ensure the safety of our students as they travel to and from school each day. If you're someone who enjoys being outdoors, values community service, and takes pride in protecting others, we’d love to have you on our team! This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a meaningful, part-time role with a positive impact on our school community.
Work Schedule:
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 2:30 PM - 3:15 PM
- Tuesday: 1:30 PM - 2:15 PM
These times are for every school day.
Pay Rate: $15.26/hour
Qualifications:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively and courteously with students, parents, and the public.
- Ability to adhere to safety and security guidelines.
- Maintain constant awareness of potential traffic risks.
- Exercise extreme caution and ensure the safety of children at all times.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand or walk for up to 1 hour.
- Must be willing to work in all types of weather conditions.
